When to mirror a decal
Mirror the design when it will be seen through the material: a decal applied to the inside of a car or shop window, or clear waterslide transfers applied face-down. Normal stickers stuck on the outside of an object should not be mirrored. The mirror option flips each decal individually so the sheet layout stays the same.

Making decals last
- Clean surfaces with isopropyl alcohol before applying so the adhesive grips.
- Apply from one edge and smooth outwards to avoid bubbles.

Waterslide decals step by step
Waterslide decals are thin films that float off their backing paper in water — ideal for models, ceramics, candles and guitars. Print the design (mirrored only if it will be viewed through clear material), let it dry completely, seal it with thin coats of clear acrylic spray, cut it out, soak it for about a minute, slide it into position, then press out water and air with a soft cloth. A final clear coat protects it once dry.
